BUSINESSES in a County Durham town are being invited to claim more than £150-worth of free Internet equipment as part of a campaign to bring high-speed, broadband services to the area.
Crook has been targeted by North-East business Onyx Internet.
The first 350 local customers to sign up to the campaign, which is being run in conjunction with regional development agency One NorthEast, will be able to claim a free ADSL modem and free broadband set-up.
The campaign is a continuation of the activities of the North East Broadband Initiative (Nebi), as part of which Onyx has worked with One NorthEast, BT and the region's web portal www.n-e-life.com
