VISITORS to Shildon Gala tomorrow will be able to test their sharpshooting skills with the help of soldiers from Durham's own regiment.
Members of the Durham Light Infantry recruiting team are taking their 25m mobile paintball range to the event in the town's Hackworth Park.
The 4th Regiment the Royal Artillery recruiting team and staff from the Bishop Auckland Army Career Information Office will also be at the gala.
Other attractions include Punch and Judy, face-painting, an art and circus workshop, skateboarding display, a climbing wall, crafts, and six-a-side football. There will be displays by the Prince Bishop Falconry, Richmond Town Pipes and Drums and Shildon Jubilee Jazz Band.
Marquee entertainment is provided by Shildon schools, City Pans and Anonymata.
A parade starts from Sunnydale Leisure Centre at noon and activities run until 4pm.
