A RIDING competition where able-bodied and disabled riders compete against each other is to be held on Teesside
The Unicorn Centre, in Hemlington, Middlesbrough, run by Riding for the Disabled, is holding a summer fair on Saturday, June 21.
There will be classes for mountain and moorland ponies, veteran and coloured classes, as well as fancy dress, clear-round jumping and working hunter classes.
New this year is novice show-jumping, to be held in the indoor arena.
A dressage competition for able-bodied and disabled riders will take place in the indoor arena in the afternoon.
Centre manager Claire Pitt said: "We are hoping the new novice show-jumping classes will attract lots of interest.
"Many of the Unicorn Centre riders will be entering the showing classes, and we hope people from other Riding for the Disabled Association groups will also come along."
