POLICE are trying to trace the last movements of a man found with severe injuries in the street.
Mark Connorton, 37, of Marske, was critically ill and unconscious yesterday, after being found with serious head injuries at 3am on Sunday.
The divorced father-of-one was found in King Street, Redcar, and is being treated at Middlesbrough General Hospital.
Detective Inspector Chris Garner said: "He had spent the early part of Saturday evening at Marske Working Men's Club, and went on to O'Riley's gym, leaving at 9.30am.
"After that, we have no firm sightings.
"We know he frequents pubs and nightclubs in the Redcar area, and we need to speak to anyone who met up with him or saw him that night."
