Durham Coast League: Murton face a massive test against table-topping Hylton as they bid to bounce back from last week's shock defeat.
Hylton have a one-point lead over Murton, who were toppled from pole position last weekend and although the season is still at an early stage, the outcome of today's clash is vital to both teams.
Murton are again minus Ian King while a blow to the chances of the home side is the absence of the hard-hitting Gary Hewitt. David Rooney, who has been unavailable for most of the campaign, is a ready replacement.
Castle Eden have moved up the table into third position and with just one defeat in seven outings are keeping the pressure on the leading pair.
They are at home to Boldon CA, who have improved gradually in recent seasons.
The visitors are happy to stay with the same XI which played in last week's double programme.
Defeat last Saturday cost Ryhope two positions in the table and they will be keen to return to winning form at Easington, but anticipate a difficult match.
John Minnis and Kris Taylor resume for the visitors, but David Hauxwell is sidelined.
Easington, only six points behind today's opponents, include Russell Tarn and Mark Race for Michael Stubbs and Stuart Harbottle.
At the bottom, Houghton and Seaham Park, who meet today, are both well adrift of Peterlee.
Seaham are severely weakened with the unavailability of James Taylor, Alan Dick, Robert Howe, Michael McNicholas and Michael Evans.
Houghton, on the other hand, are pleased that Kenny Marriott and Martin Cowey can play, the pair coming in for Carl White and Paul Elliott.
After finishing runners-up last season, Peterlee have failed to rediscover their form and have just one win ahead of the visit of Dawdon.
The home side show no change, but Dawdon name Kevin Cahill and Anthony Gale as replacements for Calvin McNicholas and Keith Laws.
Bill Quay are another side to show a couple of alterations. With Kevin Willey and David Hunt sidelined, Kevin South and Gary Haynes are given their chances to stake claims for regular first-team cricket when Silksworth visit.
Graeme Weeks will undoubtedly strengthen the Silksworth early order and with Paul Bradford back, the visitors could well present Bill Quay with a formidable target.
Glen Davison and Michael Nichol move into the Silksworth second XI.
