PEOPLE who fancy abseiling, parachuting or other daredevil stunts to raise money for charity are being sought out.
Linda McDonough is the new fundraising manager for the Chester-le-Street and Durham branch of Marie Curie Cancer Care and wants anyone with any fundraising ideas to contact her.
She said: "Anyone who has any ideas for fundraising can approach me, or if they want to get teams of people involved in fundraising events, to do something like abseiling, then that's what I'm here for.
"All the money we make stays in the local area to help put our nurses into people's homes."
Marie Curie Cancer Care is a charity that gives terminally ill people nursing care either at home or in hospital.
People can contact Linda at Victoria House, 4 High Chare, Chester-le-Street, DH3 3PX or ring 0191-3823311.
