STAFF are having health checks during lunch breaks as part of a national promotion.
To mark National Heart Week this week, LE Group's call centre at Doxford Park in Sunderland invited health professionals and fitness experts to monitor employees.
During lunch breaks, they are checking blood pressures, weight and heart rates and providing lifestyle advice.
A spokeswoman said: "A healthy and happy workforce is crucial to the success of the company.
"The activities complement the work carried out throughout the year by in-house occupational health specialists and fitness instructors."
National Heart Week, which runs until tomorrow, is organised by the British Heart Foundation to educate the public and health professionals about heart issues.
