SOME of the biggest names in pop have signed up to play at an open-air concert.
Chart-topping bands Sugababes will be headlining the TFM Live concert at Stockton's Riverside, which will open the week-long annual Stockton International Riverside Festival.
Other acts already confirmed for the July 27 show, which is expected to attract 25,000 fans, are Busted and former Take That member and Celebrity Big Brother survivor Mark Owen.
Ex-Hear'Say member Kym Marsh will also be taking to the stage, no doubt hoping for a better reception than her former band colleagues, who were booed at last year's event.
Tickets, priced £5, went on sale yesterday and are available from TFM reception, Stockton Tourist Information Centre, or by calling 0845 6760676.
Cath Ellington, managing director of TFM radio, said: "We are committed to it being bigger and better than ever, so we made the difficult decision to charge a nominal entrance fee.
"Neither ourselves or the council will be making any money from the event and I am certain the line-up of top stars will make it excellent value for money.
