A FORMER picture framer has started a business offering matching bouquets and invitations for brides.

Barbara Raw ran Framecraft, a picture framing service at Morton Park, Darlington, with her brother until recently, but has now transformed her shop, near Morrisons, into a showroom for brides-to-be.

The Brides To B business offers flowers for weddings, designer stationary and matching accessories.

Ms Raw said: "My brother and I ran Framecraft, but he is now concentrating on a new business in Newton Aycliffe. I still do picture framing, but I needed to diversify. "I was looking around for ideas and I realised that there was not anywhere in Darlington specifically offering this service.

We do flowers, invitations, table decorations, name cards and order of service, which will all match for the big day."

Ms Raw has transformed her shop, which opened on Monday, into an eye-catching showroom full of flowers and designer accessories.
