A LEADING member of controversial garage act So Solid Crew was jailed for four years yesterday after being found guilty of fleeing a suspected drugs deal with a loaded gun.
Jason Joab Phillips had apparently taken the modified Brocock into a West End premiere shortly before he and another band member were confronted by plainclothes police.
When one of the officers went to search him, the agitated star fled and dumped the weapon on top of a bag of rubbish, London's Southwark Crown Court was told.
The 24-year-old showed no reaction as the jury took 90 minutes to unanimously reject claims the weapon was nothing to do with him
