Nurses urged to return

Car boot SALE: Richmond Cricket Club hosts a car boot sale on Sunday. Sellers will be charged £5 and should arrive at 8am. The public are admitted at 9am.

Garden party: Cash will be raised for the Bedale community minibus at a garden party this weekend. The event is being held at North End, Bedale, next to the parish church and starts at 11.45am on Saturday.

HALL PLANNED: Planners have approved the building of a village hall at Minskip, near Boroughbridge. Boroughbridge Town Council gave its backing to the plan by Minskip Village Hall Committee for the new hall, near Croft Farm on the outskirts of the village.
