THREE men accused of stealing £32,285 from a building society have been sent to crown court.
Stephen McGovern, 25, and Brian James McNally, 45, both from Liverpool, appeared at Darlington Magistrates' Court yesterday accused of stealing from Darlington Building Society, in the town's Yarm Road, in April.
They were released on conditional bail and were ordered to appear at Teesside Crown Court on Monday, July 28.
Derek Evans, 41, also from Liverpool, appeared at Sedgefield Magistrates' Court yesterday and was ordered to appear at crown court on the same day.
A fourth man, who has not been named by police, was brought to Darlington for questioning yesterday after being arrested in Liverpool in connection to the theft.
