DISABLED youngsters have the chance to enjoy themselves at a fun day in Durham tomorrow.
The Children's Network Family Fun Day will take place between noon and 4.30pm at County Hall in the Aykley Heads area of the city.
Attractions include a free fairground ride and fun house and there will be entertainment and various activities.
Children with special needs, their friends and families will be able to join in a circus workshop, try kite making and ride cycles with The Gateway Wheelers.
There will also be a balloon race and a stall selling toys and games for disabled youngsters.
The Children's Network is a register, held by Durham County Council, of children aged up to 18 with disabilities.
Officials hope that disabled children and their families who are not yet registered will attend the event to find out about the help, advice and support the network offers.
The Connexions Service will provide information about opportunities after leaving school and the Durham County Council Welfare Rights Team will have an information stand.
Free parking is available, including access for disabled children and young people who are Blue Badge holders.
Refreshments will be on sale. If it is wet the events will be held in a marquee and inside County Hall.
