A GIANT screen will beam live action from Royal Ascot to punters at a two-day meeting at Redcar Racecourse today and tomorrow.
Ascot will be shown on the giant Tote screen opposite the main stands as the Redcar horse-racing action continues on the flats.
Tomorrow the Aintree Simulator will enable race-goers to experience the thrills and spills of riding in The Grand National in a special virtual ride, while other attractions in the Course Enclosure include Punch and Judy shows, balloon modelling, bouncy castle, a clown and the children's playground.
Musical entertainment is provided by Irish-music band Scarlet Heights and the West Jesmond Rhythm Kings.
The first 1,000 race-goers through the gates after opening at 1.45pm tomorrow will each receive a voucher for a complimentary pint of beer or glass of wine.
