Two teenage arsonists who burnt down their former school sobbed as they were locked up for two years today.
The 14-year-olds - who cannot be named for legal reasons - caused £356,000 worth of damage to Middleton St George Primary School, near Darlington, in February this year after setting fire to waste paper on the roof.
They pleaded guilty to arson at Teesside Crown Court and were sentenced to two years detention in a secure unit.
