THE latest computer technology showed people the way to a greener life yesterday.
A virtual village was one of the attractions at a free fun day held at the Riverside Park, in Chester-le-Street.
It featured interactive displays that demonstrated the latest green and modern technology.
Visitors also enjoyed activities such as story-telling, dancing, finding bugs and insects, and woodworking.
The event coincided with National Bike Week and there was a cycle ride from Hetton Lyons Park, Hetton-le-Hole and Sunderland to the Riverside Park.
