Records tumbled once again at the prolific Woodland Lakes Carlton Miniott.
Wednesday's match resulted in some spectacular sport when Triple World Champion Alan Scotthorne broke the match record for the second time within a week on Skylark Lake.
He raised his best of 133.5.0 to 134.7.0 made up of all carp.
The multi-talented angler sponsored by Shimano Mustad was on peg ten this time around and tamed samples to 5.0.0.
An up in the water approach at 16 metres on the pole with luncheon meat on the hook loose feeding casters delivered.
Ironically, angler to lose his title to Scotthorne, Tek Neek Trabucco Elton' s Dean Smith notched up his fourth 100lb+ net on the complex only to be relegated to runner up spot returning 114.0.0.
Heatwave conditions dictated the same tactics for a similar stamp of carp but at 13 metres off Partridge 13.
Then on Saturday Vince O'Connor, now aptly nicknamed 'O'Corner', as he's always drawing the corner pegs ran true to form fishing corner peg 34 on Skylark Lake.
The Map Elton regular presented luncheon meat tight along the boards and was into carp from the off hammering out another 'ton up' Woodlands bag of 104.0.0 to see off the sell out field and slipping the net under specimens to 5.0.0.
Map Elton rods dominated filling four out of the top six places and it was Lyndon Roberts who finished second off another corner peg, Skylark 18.
Just like the winner, the fish were tight into the corner searching for shade against the boards and slow sinking luncheon meat produced 87.10.0.
Merlin Baits Dave Templeman enjoyed a bumper pay out at the Oaks Sessay on Sunday after pulling out the 'jackpot peg' on Maple Lake.
Working the pole at 13 metres along the farside off peg 38, chopped worm brought a mixture of small carp up to 1.8.0 backed by ide and tench for 48.12.0 and a super £500.
Hot on his heels came Drennan Elton's Dave Pimlott on the long pole and meat with 46.4.0
Oaks Sessay (Thurs) Maple Lake: 1 P Taylor (Harrogate Angling Supplies) 49.3.0 - carp to pole cat food & pellet at 7 metres off peg 57; 2 S Medd (Billingham Tackle Box) 36.12.0; 3 J McGarrell (Map Elton) 36.4.0.
Sizzling temperatures into the 70s made it hard going for the majority of the 50 competitors during the Darlington BT Brother George Memorial.
Split between Lane Fox and Willowgarth Ponds Darlington's Billy Patterson finished with plenty to spare.
Drawing in the top shallows on Lane Fox, Billy Pole fished pellet and corn collecting 14 bream and a single tench for a winning net of 19.8.0.
Meanwhile Darlington's Dave Hanson also on Lane Fox landed just one fish, enough for second spot, a common carp of 10.8.0 that responded to floating bread.
