An exhibition charting the history of a North-East building opens on Saturday.
The exhibition features Preston Hall, Eaglescliffe, near Stockton, which was a family home until it opened as a museum in 1953.
It will include photographs, some of which have never been exhibited before, along with documents and memorabilia.
The exhibition, a long-term addition to the museum's attractions, can be viewed between 10am and 5.30pm. Normal admission prices apply.
