Anthony McMahon last week scooped The Northern Echo's Cricketer of the Month award for April/May after his remarkable achievement of scoring six sixes in an over for Chester-le-Street and now the hunt is on for June's recipient.
Thirteen-year-old McMahon was chosen for the award after his 36 in one over astounded our three-man panel of judges so if you know somebody worthy of the June accolade fill-in the nomination form and send it to the address shown. All nominees must have achieved their feat, with the bat or ball, while playing in a recognised North-East League or Cup.
Each monthly winner will receive a trophy - provided by sports equipment specialists Mike Gough Sports of Hartlepool - while the overall winner, to be decided at the summer's end, will also be presented with a special trophy as well as a bat signed by the Durham CC squad.
The nomination form will appear each week during the season.
