Peterlee had four wickets to spare when they visited Dawdon and overtook the target of 101 mainly as a result of number of useful contributions, particularly from Winter, who hit a couple of boundaries 25. Michael Appleby was the pick of the Dawdon attack with figures for three for 18 from 3.4 overs.
Batting first Dawdon realise 100 for the loss of five wickets. Jamie Greenwood recorded four boundaries making 32 and Ryan Consitt had one six and three fours in his 25. Briggs captured three of the five Dawdon wickets to fall for 20 runs in four overs.
There was a close finish to the game between Seaham Park and Castle Eden which the visitors won by just three runs. Batting first Castle Eden realised the healthy total of 134 for two mainly as a result of the efforts of John Spellman with 60 not out and Liam Brown who added 36.
In reply Seaham Park went close and finished with 131 for six. Shaun Sutherland was their top scorer carrying his bat for 36 while Haminder Singh contributed 28 and David Morton 20.
Hylton won from the last ball of the game when they entertained Ryhope. Needing 96 for victory they compiled 99 for four as Brian Conlin, a regular in the first team, remained undefeated on 40 after Liam Forster had contributed a valuable 25.
Boldon had nine wickets in hand of Bill Quay overtaking the home side's total of 87 for nine when a number of players scored runs, the main contributor being Karl Bellerby with 20. Phillips claimed three wickets for just ten runs in three overs and Chris Little also had three wickets at a cost of 30 runs in four overs for Bill Quay.
Batting first Quay ended with 87 for eight on the board and Little was their top scorer with 20.
