Cleveland and North Yorkshire Sporting League
Urlay Nook regained the leadership of the Shooting League with an impressive 152 to 137 home win over former leaders Stokesley. Gary Hanrahan and A Roberts were top scorers for the home team with a 21 ex 25. Kevin Bushby high scored for Stokesley with a 19.
Great Smeaton climbed a couple of places up the league to third with a 168 to 156 home win over Marne. A Pawlett scored a 23 for Smeaton, whilst Tony and Steve Masters scored 21 each for Marne.
Thimbleby slipped down to fourth with a narrow 175 to 173 away defeat at Spennymoor. The Moors top gun was Charlie Scott with a 23, Jeremy Bird scored similarly for Thimbleby.
Hardwick Hall picked up their first points of the season with a one clay home win 171 to 170 over Oak Lodge. Mike Brown and John Camera scored the highest score of the evening with 24 for Hardwick Hall, whilst Gary Attwood scored a 24 too.

* This Sunday is the Inter-league home leg at Oak Lodge Shooting Ground on Sunday morning. Entries from 11am to 2pm. The Cleveland and North Yorkshire League are currently 16 points down going into the return tie.
