Cockton Hill, the only unbeaten team in the pool section, moved up to challenge the leaders when they retained their record with a good away win at Byers Green.
The Green's only point came from Davey Briggs, whilst the Hill had wins from Russell Place, Colin Britton, Peter Race and Trevor Race. Cockton Hill proved they are really on a roll for they moved up to share the top spot in the darts with Ferryhill and went top in their own right in the dominoes section. The performance of the week came from Newfield, who held the visiting Crook Belle Vue darts team, just going down by the odd point. The only maximums in the week's games came from Crowtrees where Bobby Usher and Gary Galloway heard the magic "180" cry.

Crook Games Cup
Crook Royal Sun were taken to the decider at Crook Jelly's Bar A before they edged through to the semi-finals of the First Division section of the Cup. The home side had pool points from Andrew Heys and Glynn Vasey to add to the dominoes points from Norman Jones, Rah Hall, Michael Jewitt and Frank Samuels. However the Sun were able to level when Dave Haygarth, Graham Johnson, Ronnie Hope and Simon Bowey added their pool points to the dominoes wins from John Parkin and Cliff Johnson.
The Sun won the toss to name the deciding game and chose pool, where dave Haygarth beat John Gibson. There was a similar situation in the Second Division quarter finals when Crook King's Head visited Crook Coach and Horses B. The Coach had pool points from Darren Tinkler, David Stephenson, Gerald Parkin and Les Scott to add to the dominoes wins from Andrew Reynolds and Les Scott. The King's proved equal to the task with pool points from Carl Maddison and Andy Palmer and dominoes points from Steph Gill, David Brown, Kevin Carter and Stephen Dawson.
The King's Head won the toss to name the deciding game and chose dominoes, where Kevin Carter beat Gerald Parkin.
