YOUNGSTERS with disabilities from across County Durham were treated to a free fun day.
The event was held at County Hall, Durham, and featured attractions including a free fairground ride and fun house, entertainment and various activities, including a circus workshop and kite- making.
The event on Sunday was organised by the Children's Network.
The network is a register of children aged up to 18 who have disabilities or special needs, that is maintained by Durham County Council.
As well as giving youngsters and their families the chance to enjoy themselves, the event was designed to raise awareness of the register.
Youngsters on the register can get help, advice and support through the Children's Network.
The event was also attended by members of the Connexions Service, who were present to give out information about opportunities for school leavers, and the county council's welfare rights team.
