A CABBIE who scooped a £14m Lotto jackpot has vowed to continue living in his modest former council house
Bob Frazer, 58, has been jetting around the world on holiday since he won the money two months ago.
Now he has returned to Newcastle and said his three-bed red brick terraced house will remain his home.
Mr Frazer could have booked a suite in one of Tyneside top hotels without having to touch his windfall as he has earned about £100,000 in interest alone since the win - the eighth biggest since the draw began.
He said: "I am not planning on selling up. I am quite happy to stay here and think about what to do with so much money."
The £18,000-a-year cabbie had been working 14-hour night shifts, six days a week, for 20 years before landing the jackpot.
He gave up work at Byker Taxis Waterline in Heaton Road the day after his big win.
Financial advisor Andrew Miller, director of Gerrard Investment Managers, praised Mr Frazer for being cautious with his cash.
He said: "Bob is probably being very sensible not moving. If you have been used to living where you are, it won't necessarily make you happier to live in a mansion."
