YOUNGSTERS with disabilities from across County Durham were treated to a free fun day.
The event, held at County Hall, Durham, featured attractions including a free fairground ride and fun house, entertainment and various activities, such as a circus workshop and kite-making.
It was organised by the Children's Network, a register maintained by Durham County Council of children aged up to 18 who have disabilities or special needs.
As well as giving youngsters and their families the chance to enjoy themselves, the event was designed to raise awareness of the register.
The event was also attended by members of the Connexions Service, who provided information about opportunities for school leavers, and the welfare rights team of the county council.
