Steve Thompson held on to his number one spot in the Ranking List just published in time for the next tournament in Durham Snooker Club on Sunday, 29 June.
Dave Hodgson proved to be the biggest mover as he went to seventh from sixteenth, whilst David Castledene moved up from Seventeenth to thirteenth.

Any pool players are welcome to join in the tournament on Sunday, 29 June and have the opportunity to collect merit and ranking points as well as prize money. Registration is at noon in Durham Snooker Club with the top 32 qualifying for the end of year big money tournament.
Crook League
Bishop Auckland and District League
Willington Brewer's Droop came very close to landing a major scalp in their first season but they just failed to get the decisive final points on their visit to Bishop Auckland Snooker Club B. The home side had two singles points from Kevin Stewart with Paul Willey, Michael Hopper and Steve Balanaves adding one each. The Brewer's stayed level with two points from Tony Atkinson and one each from Davey Gallagher, Jimmy Fleming and Stephen Britton.
The Snooker Club then edged ahead with the doubles point from Kevin Stewart and Steve Balanaves. Billy Wragg took the first captain's game to level the match but Michael Hoggart clinched a home win by taking the second captain's game.
Henknowle Manor A were stretched before coming through in the decider at Spennymoor Weardale. The home side had two points each from Lou Cooper and Shane Cason with Martin Short adding one. The Manor levelled with two each from Steven Webb and Peter Mernor with Ronnie Wright adding one. The home side put themselves on the hill when Gary Williams and Shane Cason won the doubles but Steve Webb took the Manor to victory by beating Sean Archer in both captain's games.
Spennymoor Ash Tree moved up to share top spot with Crook Coach and Horses A after they only dropped one point at Witton Park Rose and Crown. The Ash Tree have a match in hand of the Coach, as have third placed, Crook Olde Horse Shoe, who trail the joint leaders by two points.

Crook Individual League
Johnny Mason went down to his first defeat in the re-arranged match with Michael Burke, who hung on to his unbeaten record by taking the deciding frame in a very tight match. Mason had earlier whitewashed James Ivil, making the only clearance from the six matches played. Mason also came through a very long tactical battle against David Haygarth to win in the decider.
Burke pulled off a good whitewash win over Les Scott, who didn't have a goods night for he also went down to Aaron Cowan in the decider. Haygarth made up for his loss against Mason by defeating David Stephenson by the odd point.

Spennymoor League
Coxhoe Red Lion made an excellent away win at Spennymoor Ash Tree. The home side only took one singles point when Mike Ramage won, whilst the Lion had wins from Ronnie Hall, Gary Noddle, Steve Turton and Gary Stephenson. The Ash Tree pulled a point back when Alan Thompson and Mike Ramage won the first doubles. However Tommy Brown and Gary Stephenson clinched the visitors' victory by taking the second doubles and then Ronnie Hall completed a good night by beating Gary Jackson in the captain's game.
Spennymoor Voltigeur now hold a five points advantage at the top of the table with Spennymoor North Eastern in second place, three points ahead of Spennymoor Quinns Inn and Spennymoor Football Club.

Tow Law Scottish Courage League
Sunniside Comedian made a good away win at Hamilton Row Black Horse, although they did not get away to a good start when Ray Johnson, who had just received a certificate for his success the previous week, went down in the first frame to Chris Ellis.
However Dave Walton, John Conoly and John Hildreth took points for the Comedian with Jim Christalow and Steve Wilkie levelling.
However the Comedian went on to take all thee doubles points for a good victory. This win moved the Comedian into third place in the table, three points behind Newhouse Club.
Tow Law Station visited Newhouse Club and went down by three points. Mike Starr, Graeme Thompson, Stephen Sykes and Steve Turner took singles points for the Club, whilst Paul Longstaff and Christopher Reed replied.
The home side then took two of the doubles to move three points behind the league leaders, Tow Law Football Club, who whitewashed the visiting Tow Law New Market B.
