PELTON Junior School choir has released a CD single with the help of a professional sound recordist.
A temporary recording studio was set up in the school with the help of sound recordist Donald Wichman from Gateshead.
It took two hours to record the CD, which contains two songs written by the school's music co-ordinator, Edward Jackson. He said: "It's on sale for anyone to buy.
"It will fund further arts projects for the new primary school that's being created when we amalgamate with the infant school."
