POLICE attempting to trace a number of men caught up in trouble following this year's Sunderland-Newcastle derby match have made an arrest.
Northumbria Police released pictures of five men said to have thrown missiles at officers following the match on April 26.
The force said it had a good response from the public and was hoping for more calls.
Spokeswoman Hazel Dixon said: "We would welcome more calls from the public to help us identify these men.
"So far, a 33-year-old man from the Sunderland area has been arrested and charged with affray."
The man is due to appear before Sunderland magistrates on Friday.
