BUS firm Go North East is to hold a number of public surgeries in a bid to improve passenger services.
Go North East staff are to visit ten towns and cities in the region and will encourage people to share their views on bus travel.
An easy-access bus will be available at each location, with staff on hand to deal with complaints, listen to suggestions for improvements or provide information on services.
Andrew Nash, of Go North East, said: "We take the views of those who use our services very seriously and aim to involve them as much as possible.
"The surgeries will give us a good idea of whether we are providing a good service to all."
The first surgery will be held in Whitehall Road in the Saltwell area of Gateshead, from 10am to 4pm next Wednesday.
Further events are being held in Washington on July 9; Stanley on July 30; Consett on August 13; North Tyneside on August 20; Chester-le-Street on September 10; Winlaton on October 1; Bishop Auckland on October 22; South Tyneside on November 12; and Sunderland on December 3.
The location and time of each event will be advertised before it takes place.
