A WOMAN faces a possible prison sentence after admitting illegally acquiring computer and other electrical equipment worth more than £180,000.
Nicola Brough came before Durham Crown Court yesterday to face 17 counts of obtaining property by deception.
Brough, 28, of Eastbourne Road, Darlington, admitted committing the offences in July 2000.
She acquired mostly computer equipment from 15 different suppliers, by falsely claiming she was Angela Shepherd, making the order on behalf of Shepherd Accounting.
Judge John Milford adjourned the hearing to July 11, pending preparation of pre-sentence reports by the probation service, and ordered that Brough be remanded in custody.
