Neale Cooper has been unveiled as the new manager of Hartlepool United.
The former Ross County boss succeeds Mike Newell, who was sacked last month despite leading the club to only its third promotion in the clubs history.
Former youth team coach Martin Scott, who was also in the running for the Victoria Park hotseat, has been appointed as Cooper's number two.
Cooper has a proven managerial pedigree having guided Ross County from the Scottish Third Division to the First Division in consecutive seasons.
As a player Cooper won three league titles, four Scottish Cups, two League Cups, a European Cup Winner's Cup and a Super Cup.
