Police in Darlington are looking for a youth who sparked a police helicopter search.
A youth was seen trying to break into a car in Beaumont Street on Sunday. But when police tried to apprehend him, he escaped and sparked a helicopter search around the surrounding streets. Another youngster in the area was arrested and released on police bail pending further inquiries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Darlington police on (01325) 467681.
