BUSINESSES are queuing up to take space on a market town's newly-extended industrial park.
More than 20 firms have expressed an interest in buying land on the Estate in Stokesley following the release of a further eight acres for development.
Hambleton District Council valuers are in negotiations with ten of the firms which have expressed an interest.
The companies - from Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hutton Rudby, Stokesley, Great Broughton and Guisborough - wish to either move to or expand on to the business park.
The 22-acre estate will be further boosted by the construction of incubator units later this year.
The £2m scheme - which has been the subject of a national design competition - has attracted both European and Yorkshire Forward funding.
The units will house and provide support for new companies.
Situated on the eastern edge of Stokesley, the industrial park has already attracted a broad range of high quality businesses since opening in 1991.
