A festival of music returns to Bishop Auckland next week after a two-year gap.
Wear Valley District Council has received funding to hold the festival in the town hall from Thursday to Sunday next week.
The festival will open with concerts by the North Jazz Orchestra on Thursday and Friday, at 10.15am and 1.30pm.
Other performers include John Surman, the Katatsiti drummers, from Ghana, the Jazz Guitar Duo, Alexander Wood and Huw Watkins.
The play Playing for Time will be staged in the town hall on Sunday at 7.30pm.
