A RADIO station hopes it has started to grow on the residents of a Teesside community.
To make sure, BBC Radio Cleveland is leaving The Clarences estates, near Billingham, with a garden at the end of three months of broadcasting from the community.
The station's Voices project was aimed at raising the area's profile and celebrating its community spirit, while giving the residents a chance to talk about their lives, their experiences and their passions.
It plans a two-day Ground Force-style creation of a garden as a lasting reminder.
The plants and tools for the garden are being donated by listeners and friends of BBC Radio Cleveland.
The garden is being built using a team of volunteers, including residents and some of the station's presenters.
Producer Celeste Hicks said: "We wanted to say thank you to the people of The Clarences for their warm welcome, interest and kindness in our project.
"The idea came from people in the community who told us that they really wanted to have a garden."
It will be created over the weekend.
There will also be a five-a-side football tournament, live music with the Fettlers, a circus skills workshop, film shows, a barbeque, and activities for toddlers.
