THE Station Hotel in Redcar is getting revved up to host its first ever bike run.
Landlord Peter Grant has organised a bike run from the pub on Station Street, to the Whistle Stop Caf in Whitby, on Sunday.
Mr Grant said: "The response to this first ride has been fantastic and the number of riders is growing. Don't worry if you can 't make it this time because we hope to have a ride every month."
Bikers are invited to meet at the pub at 12.30pm for free tea and coffee before taking off at 1.30pm for Whitby.
"The ride takes us through Brotton where we pick up more riders before heading down to Whitby," said Mr Grant.
Following the first bike run, Mr Grant is introducing a Biker Night which will be held in the pub every Wednesday.
He said: "This is something we intend to invite all the local bike clubs to."
On the night there will be live music from local bands, tea and coffee and secure parking.
The pub is owned by Pubmaster and the company's business development manager Paul Hutchinson said: "Getting big groups like this to meet at your pub is great for attracting new custom and creating a point of interest. Peter knows what his customers like and it sounds like the group have a great day ahead of them."
