AN excavation company is asking councillors to give it two more years to restore a Darlington quarry.
The firm was due to have completed work to fill and restore Barmpton quarry, by September but says it will not be able to because of a lack of waste needed to fill the site.
The application will go before Darlington Borough Council's planning committee on Wednesday. Officers have recommended approval.
