There are new horse classes at this year's Cleveland Show to be held on Saturday, July 26, at Stewart Park, Marton.
Coloured horses and ponies have a choice of four classes, both ridden and in-hand and are judged in the morning and qualify for the coloured horse and pony championships.
All coloureds are welcome and owners and riders need not be members of CHAPS to enter.
Side-saddle classes are in the main ring at 11am and are open to members and non-members of the Side-Saddle Association, but those who are members could qualify for the championships.
There are the usual classes for Dales, Fell, Welsh, Shetland, Arabs, hunter youngstock and mountain and moorland ponies as well as the popular riding pony classes and best rider championship for the Gazette Cup.
Show jumping is for horses and judged under BSJA rules starting at 11am.
For schedules send SAE to Mrs Dale, at Stewart Park, Marton, Middlesbrough, TS7 8AR or telephone 01642 312231 for information. Entries close on Saturday, July 5.
