THE curator of the Ryedale Folk Museum, at Hutton-le-Hole, on the North York Moors, believes the facility will flourish as a result of expanding its educational facilities.
Mick Krupa has become curator of the museum, which now covers three acres after a career in higher education and local government.
Work on a new gallery, workshops, the restoration of the Manor House, and storage and exhibition space, costing just under £500,000, is expected to begin soon and take between 18 months and two years to complete, he said.
