Marne moved up a place to sixth inthe league and kept their 100 per cent home record with a massive victory over the current Champions, Urlay Nook by 163 to 154 points.
A strong team from Marne was headed by their team Captain Tony Masters, who top scored with a 24 ex 25, Peter Marwood high scored for Urlay Nook with a 22.
Meanwhile, Thimbleby moved up in to second place with a great win over Great Smeaton. Scores were affected greatly by the high winds and Thimbleby only ammassed a score of 178 to Great Smeaton's 173. Top gun for Thimbleby was Billy Mayhew with a 24, whilst Paul Foster scored similarly for Great Smeaton.
Stokesley dropped to third with their second succesive away defeat of the season to Oak Lodge by 21 points, 163 to 142. Ron Calvert and J Garside both high scored for Oak Lodge with a 22, P Richmond scored a 20 for Stokesley.
Fox Hall picked up their second win of the season with a six point victory 165 to 159 over Spennymoor. Stuart Pape shot a 23 for the Foxes, whilst Keith Kipling replied with a 22 for the Moors.
