AN arts activity programme in museums across Hambleton and Richmondshire is proving popular.
Places are being booked on the Active8 scheme, featuring a summer programme of 11 workshops.
Professional artists will be running taster sessions covering aspects of art ranging from making giants out of junk to using technology to create music and graphic art.
Bookbinder Sue Simpson will run the first workshop at Shandy Hall, Coxwold, on July 24.
"This workshop is not designed around experienced bookbinders, but is intended to give youngsters a taster of these skills," said Ms Simpson, of Northallerton.
To reserve a place on this workshop, or for information about other workshops, call Jane King on (01748) 829110.
