OFFICIALS heading the inquiry into disgraced gynaecologist Richard Neale said they still have a large amount of evidence to shift through.
The oral stage of the inquiry, which is taking place in York, will be completed at the end of the month, when officials will begin assessing written accounts.
The inquiry was called by former Health Secretary Alan Milburn to look into the way complaints against Neale were handled
Secretary Colin Phillips said: "There is still much evidence to be considered, and if people feel they have good information that could be valuable there is still an opportunity for them to come forward."
Neale, a former surgeon at the Friarage Hospital, North-allerton, North Yorkshire, has already given evidence to the inquiry, which is expected to report back to the Government by the end of the year.
