A SHOCKING advertising campaign has brought glory to a small design house ahead of global names such as Saatchi and Saatchi.
Different, a creative marketing agency based in Newcastle, won awards for best art direction, best use of photography and best overall campaign at the Campaign Direct 2003 awards.
The firm's haunting campaign for Sunderland Teaching Primary Care Trust featured a picture of an unborn foetus formed out of cigarette smoke.
The caption read: "If you smoke when you're pregnant, so does your baby."
Ben Quigley, managing director of the 21-strong operation, said: "There is a need for shock advertising because pregnant women and their families are not taking advice and are continuing to smoke in alarmingly high numbers."
