Durham Coast League - Under-18s: Despite a good innings of 35 not out by Gary Snowball, Houghton still lost by five wickets to Hylton.
Houghton posted 115-4 and in reply Hylton made 119-5 which included 57 by Andrew Martin and 28 from Liam Foster.
Phillips took four wickets for only seven runs and Adam Richardson 2-18 but Bill Quay still lost by four wickets to Dawdon whose match-winning 91-6 included 20 not out by Scott.
Castle Eden lost just one wicket overtaking the Boldon CA total of 86-8 when John Spellman finishd wih 26 not out and Glaister added an unbeaten 21 while Ryhope surged to a 10-wickets win at Peterlee. Required to score just 44 they were indebted to Dan Pearson for his undefeated 27.
Portman Under-15 Trophy
Eppleton qualified to meet Willington in the final of the Durham Cricket Board Portman Under-15 Trophy when they defeated Sacriston by two wickets following a closely-fought game.
Elliott Hughes took three wickets for five runs in four overs restricting Sacriston to 68-7 but despite defending a low total, Sacriston made Eppleton work hard for victory. Burke returned figures of 3-6 off four overs, Tilley had 2-20 and Stevens 2-11 in the Sacriston attack.
Federation Special Durham Senior League Under-15s
Durham City visited Hetton Lyons and won by eight wickets after restricting the home side to 69-9.
Williamson carried his bat for 31 and Parker was 23 not out when City accumulated the necessary run.
Greg Dixon scored 26 and took three wickets for 21 runs in five overs but Philadelphia still went down by five wickets to Boldon and Seaham Harbour defeated Sunderland by six wickets. Shaun Cartledge was their hero as he claimed five wickets for only seven runs in five overs.
South Hetton had six wickets in hand of South Shields. Craig Mordue (5-17) restricted the visitors to 90-6 and then scored 37 not out, hitting four boundaries.
Under-18s
Durham City just failed to overtake a formidable total of 138-3 when they met Horden.
Carl Watson top scored with 55 for Horden and Stephen Maddox made 58 which together with 25 from Tim Edwards led City to 130-2 at stumps.
Chester-le-Street defeated Marsden by one wicket at Ropery Lane. Martin Stephenson took two wickets for two runs as Marsden ended on 118-3 and in reply, the Cestrians just edged the result with Bates top scoring with 27.
Davidson claimed a hat-trick in figures of 4-2 as South Hetton overtook the Sunderland score of 49 all out losing only one wicket.
Glenn Robinson Memorial Trophy
The runs flowed when Durham met Cleveland. Chester le Street's Andrew Smith made 104 before he retired, Hartlepool pair Paul Johnson (76) and Alan Tebbett (44 not out) were also among the runs as was Michael Walker of Hetton Lyons who contributed 54 to the total of 326-4.
Replying, Cleveland were all out for 244 with Gareth Pratt of Durham City taking 2-35, John Hutton (South Shields) three for 44 and Walker two for 44.
Foster's Northumberland and Tyneside Senior League - Under-18s
Sacriston won the Under-18 Cup when they defeated Annfield Plain by eight wickets. Martin Hubber top-scored with 29 when Sacriston replied with 67-2 to the Plain total of 66-7.
In the League, Consett overtook the Lanchester total of 116-5 which included 66 not out by Ian Steward with eight wickets remaining. Their top performer with the bat was Ben Travis who carried his bat for 49.
Mark Mason (49 not out) and Stephen Marsh (39) led Blaydon to 140-4 and replying, Greenside made only 111 as Andrew Miller claimed 4-13 in five overs.
Lintern (35) and Wilkin with 43 scored the majority of Greenside's runs.
Although they totalled only 79-5, Annfield Plain defeated Ryton by 28 runs. Scott Harrison took five wickets for just 14 runs and his brother Lee had figures of 2-11.
Readers Durham County League - Under-18s
A tie resulted when Brandon hosted Tudhoe. Batting first, Tudhoe ended on 112-2 and in reply Brandon made 112-7 as Kevin Parnaby was run out from the last ball of the match.
Jonathan Taylor took six wickets for a mere 15 runs in five overs for Tudhoe and in the home side's innings, Stephen Parnaby scored 31 and Gary Brown 30.
Dan Fox (52 not out) and Harry Collingwood with 47 added 100 for Tudhoe's second wicket.
Langley Park lost by eight wickets to Crook Town for whom Christopher Guy claimed four wickets for five runs in four overs before contributing 20 to the Crook total of 70-2 which also included an unbeaten 39 from Michael Cooper with eight fours.
James Alderson (49) and Chris Peareth (45) were both in good form for Evenwood who totalled 134-7 at Newton Aycliffe. The home side managed just 32 all out in reply.
