THE following cases were heard at South Durham Magistrates' Court in Darlington yesterday:
ASSAULT CHARGE: Hashice Eagle, 24, of the Pierremont Unit at Darlington Memorial Hospital, appeared accused of assault causing actual bodily harm. He will appear again at Teesside Crown Court on August 18.
case adjourned: Elizabeth Rees, 39, of Auckland Avenue, Darlington, appeared accused of obtaining £2,545.50 from Lloyds TSB Bank by deception. The case was adjourned until August 5.
DRIVING ALLEGATION: Paul Mark Bell, 33, of Turnpike Close, Darlington, appeared accused of dangerous driving. The case was adjourned until August 5.
ROBBERY claim: Raymond Coglan, 19, of The Green, Brafferton, Darlington, is accused of mobile phone robbery. He was remanded on conditional bail and will appear at Teesside Crown Court on August 12.
DISORDER ALLEGED: Paul Michael Hanlon, 18, of Nickstream Lane, Darlington, and a 17-year-old girl appeared on charges of violent disorder. They were remanded on conditional bail until August 5.
failed to appear: David Michael Medcalf, 21, of Pendover Street, Darlington, was not present to answer a charge of failing to surrender to bail. The case was adjourned until August 5.
DAMAGE CLAIM: David Arthur Saint, 27, of Gurney Street, Darlington, appeared accused of breaking a neighbour's window. The case was adjourned until August 5.
