A GRADE II-listed hotel and antiques business is for sale for almost £500,000.
The Castle Hotel and antiques centre in Middleham, part of which is believed to be the 15th Century barbican of Middleham Castle, has been owned and operated for five years by Joanne and Derek Jarvill, who plan to retire.
The building, parts of which are 17th Century, includes eight bedrooms and owner's accommodation with two bedrooms in a converted stable.
The antiques centre has 16 showcases, ten of which are leased. There is room for ten more.
The sale is being handled by the Leeds office of Christie and Co, who are asking £450,000 for the freehold. Further details are available from Mark Bailey, on 0113-389 2700.
