ONE of the region's leading retail floor specialists has scored a contract with Darlington Football Club to carpet one of the stands.
CreateCity, of Darlington, through its Frank's Contract Flooring business, has struck a deal with the Third Division club to carpet the interior of the executive boxes and the exterior seating areas in the VIP section of the club's new 25,000-seater stadium - The Reynolds Arena.
The company has fitted 840sq metres of carpet in the executive boxes and 4,800sq metres in the stand.
The link between CreateCity and the club began when CreateCity's founder, Billy Maguire, bought premises from Darlington Football Club's chairman, George Reynolds.
Frank's Contract Flooring was launched at the beginning of the year to cater for the commercial sector.
CreateCity, based in Whessoe Road, also operates the Frank's Factory Flooring and wholesale business and Maguire's Carpets, which serves retailers across the North of England and Scotland.
Jason Maguire, managing director of Createcity said: "We are extremely proud to work on George Reynolds' fantastic project to bring a top quality sporting venue to Darlington.
"We have worked with George on a number of occasions, but to be part of the contract team on the construction of The Reynolds Arena is a major move forward for Frank's Contract Flooring."
