YOUNGSTERS are being urged to take part in a summer competition to win a mountain bike.
They are asked to suggest a name for Stockton Borough Council's new dolphin mascot for Splash in Church Road, Stockton. There is also a colouring competition in the latest issue of Primary Times - the publication delivered to all primary schools across the borough. Children aged four to 11 are asked to hand in their picture and suggested a name at the reception areas at Thornaby Pool, Billingham Forum or Splash when paying for a summer activity.
The winner will receive a mountain bike, donated by Skinnergate Cycles of Stockton, and there are runners-up prizes. Entries must be handed in by September 1.
