A LATE-night bus service for revellers has got off to a flying start.
More than 300 people have travelled on the Night Bus Network in Durham in the first two weekends of its introduction.
Martin Harris, commercial director at Go North-East, said: "We are delighted with the initial response. The number of passengers using the scheme shows that additional transport to compliment existing taxi services is in demand, and we expect these figures to rise as awareness is raised about the benefits."
The Night Bus Network is backed by pub and club chain Walkabout Inns and tickets for journeys, which must be bought in advance, are available in various locations around the city.
