The sixth annual Teesdale Soccer Sixes was held earlier this month with 151 teams travelling from as far a field York, Chester le Street, Gateshead, Teesside and Darlington to compete in the competition.
The junior competition was held on the Saturday and was divided into four categories: 9-11yrs, 11-13yrs, 14-16yrs and girls 11-13yrs.
After a great day of football the eventual winners of the competitions were as follows:
9-11yrs: Shildon Villa
11-13yrs: Willington Boys
14-16yrs: The Angels
Girls 11-13yrs: SAFC 24/7
Sunday saw the adults competition with the winning team Waifs and Strays from Shildon coming out winners.
